Elisa Carisi
About Elisa
Born in Sicily, Italy, and with almost 20 years of professional tattooing and almost 30 years of tattooing in general, she grew up traveling around Europe.
Elisa is a vegan and an anarchopunk at heart. She started tattooing friends in squats, where each tattoo was a collective event and an excuse for parties. In 2009, she began working professionally in Rome at Swan Song Tattoo, where she remained for 10 years before moving to Germany.
Since 2022, you can find her working at Für Immer, a Berlin studio with more than 25 years of history.

About the styles
Elisa began her journey tattooing American Traditional. She did that for years before she switched to Japanese Traditional Tattooing, or Irezumi. Finding it to be the highest form of tattooing as art, Elisa specializes in big and powerful pieces. She is also deeply in love with the powerful, bright, and colorful Tibetan imagery, and a lot of her recent work showcases both of those forms of tattooing.
Visit her portfolio to see how both styles deeply shape Elisa's tattoo career.

Portfolio
Traditional tattooing is about endurance and longevity. Moving between classic Japanese horimono and bold Tibetan imagery, Elisa builds tattoos with strong structural linework, dense blacks, and smooth bokashi gradients. Take a look through her portfolio to see how these large-scale pieces look once the skin is completely healed
Elisa takes clients in English, Italian, Spanish and German.
